Guida has alternated wins and losses in his past 7 fights. At 41 he still maintains top tier cardio but a title shot or even a top 15 ranking is out of the question most likely. He doesn’t currently have a fight scheduled.
Do they throw him against Ferguson in hopes of a double retirement fight? Speaking honestly, I don’t see Guida retiring out of choice.
I’d hate to see him used as another “big name” stepping stone for Paddy, but wouldn’t be opposed to a Michael Johnson fight.
Is there a better matchup I’m not seeing?
