I am looking to do some amateur mma fights in about 5 years. I have recently starting bjj and mma training at my local mma gym and I also have a background in highschool wrestling. I wanted to ask what would be the best strategy to become a good fighter in the cage. Should I take the next couple years to become a really good grappler and train mostly that along with some mma. Or should I spread my focus over everything striking and grappling and mma. I feel like it would be better to get really good at something first rather than be mediocre at a lot of things and since I am new to striking and mma learning everything at once might not be beneficial. Let me know what your guys opinions are! Thx
