I’ve been practicing BJJ for about a year now, had to take a short break for personal reasons. I’ve wanted to go into the world of amateur fighting, maybe even professional if I became good enough and got the right attention.
But I’m concerned that since I turned 25 recently I may be too old and that world is out of my reach, by the time I get good enough I may be too old to keep up with younger athletes.
Any thoughts on this?
Edit: evidently I need to elaborate a bit. I’m not asking if it’s too late to start practicing even as a hobby, I already do that. I’m asking if it’s too late to train for real competitive, life altering fighting. Become an amateur fighter and hopefully even move into professional.
