The man is obviously insanely talented – great hands, holds a Black Belt in: BJJ, Judo, Taekwondo & Hapkido.

My question is, clearly Zombie’s main issue as he ages is his chin. When he was younger (WEC/early UFC), he’d literally ‘take one to give one’. It’s how he earned his name. But, it has me thinking – how much higher could he have gone in the sport if he built his game around defense and blocking shots? Would he have been a Champion?

Imagine his skill set, but he was able to take minimal damage like Khabib throughout the years. Does that shot from Max still lay him out? Just thought it was interesting and was curious to see what others think.

Either way, great fight. Hard to pick someone to root for in fights like this. They’ll definitely be able to make a “The Thrill & The Agony” episode from this one.
