As an izzy fan, i always thought Strickland was cringe because of the way he acted

his candor during the post fight interview was extremely refreshing. things in particular that stood out to me were when he said that this belt does not define him, why he loves fighting and how it relates to his childhood trauma, him recognizing that anything could happen in the fight game, and acknowledging that the ufc will decide who he fights next.

truly someone who recognizes he is here for a good time not a long time.
