So, I watch a bunch of UFC and I casually watch ONE. I know the general consensus is that ONE is more professional, there’s more sportmanship, always enjoyed that about it, but there’s one thing on my mind that I’m just not sure about. Are the refs just way better?

I know there are no “official” UFC refs, they are independent contractor, and many UFC refs have reffed ONE too, but the thing is, I’ve never seen the amount of late stoppages on ONE that I have seen on the UFC.

I guess, because of what was mentioned earlier, there’s a lot of this on ONE, fighters are more controlled themselves and therefore it’s probably easier to ref, but I’ve just seen so many more hits to completely knocked out fighters on UFC and was wondering if I’m just eating big narrative dick and someone who watches more ONE can confirm that their refs suck ass, or if it’s really the case that the refs are just better and take better care of the fighters there.
